I’ve been composing music for acoustic guitar, 6 and 12 strings,
since 2007, when I discovered the music of John Fahey,
Robbie Basho and Glenn Jones.
Prior to that I was completely hooked on British folk music
especially a long time addiction to the magical music of Bert Jansch.
In my compositions, I bring many influences from the ‘American Primitive’
world of steel string guitar, together with the magical tales
of the British islands, the storytelling nature of soundtrack music
and of course, the unique modes and spices that were absorbed
in me, a resident of middle-eastern country.
My two LP’s were released by Anova Music (Israel) and Strange Attractors
Audio House (Rest of the world). I also contributed a piece to the
Imaginational Anthem Vol.5 compilation, and to the latest
Robbie Basho tribute album ‘Basket Full Of Dragons’
אני כותב מוזיקה לגיטרות אקוסטיות (6 ו-12 מיתרים) מאז שנת 2007, כשגיליתי לראשונה
את המוזיקה של ג’ון פאהי, רובי באשו וגלן ג’ונס.
לפני הגילוי של המוזיקה המאד אמריקאית ושורשית שלהם, הייתי נעול לגמרי על מוזיקת פולק
מהאיים הבריטים, במיוחד זו של ברט ג’אנש.
במוזיקה שלי, אני מביא שילובים של העולמות השורשיים-בלוזים האמריקאים לצד סיפורי הפיות
הבריטים, יחד עם האיכויות הסיפוריות-מינימליסטיות או מורכבות של מוזיקת פסקולים וכמובן –
כיציר האדמה הזו, את כל הבהרט, הציפורן, הלימון הפרסי והכמון המקומי.
שני האלבומים שלי יצאו בישראל באמצעות אנובה מיוזיק ובשאר העולם על ידי הלייבל Strange Attractors
Audio House. כמו כן קטע שלי הופיע באוסף הגיטריסטים הידוע Imginational Anthem (Vol.5)
וכמו כן השתתפתי באלבום מחווה חדש למוזיקאי רובי באשו בשם A Basket Full Of Dragons
